Meeting 4.8.14

Aim of the meeting:
To progress the
work ready for September.

Bec kindly sent in work on the
identity and the way-finding positions around the campus.
·
We need to know how many
way-finding signs for the floor (vinyl and on waterproof paper). This was not
clear from the layouts sent.
·
Would Bec or people from the
group be able to come into College on the 19th August to discuss with Rose?
·
Charlotte and Katie bought
their work with them.
·
Digital Invite to be produced
as quickly as possible to be sent out. This will follow the printed items in
style, and colour of the paper.
·
It has now been confirmed to
use ‘Cobalt Blue’ and ‘Park Green’ as the main colours for the identity by
duplexing the paper for the printed invite and using the web site to download
the colours to match for the digital. ‘Factory Yellow’ will be used for the
way-finding signs as an accent colour. This will be printed by Murray’s
Printers (thanks to Vanessa arranging this) on the vinyl’s using ink to match
the colour.

Text for the invite will be
written and confirmed by Sallyanne, Rose and Vanessa. And sent by Wednesday to
Katie and Charlotte.

Designs will be sent to
Sallyanne and Rose by the end of this week for approval.
·
Screen-printing of 600 invites
will be 19th – 21st August with help from Liz Wilson and
Rose.

Chloe and Purna will come in to
help Katie and Charlotte to do this.
·
Vanessa will need 100 printed
items to hand out in addition to the digital invite.
·
Tables were discussed and a
design identified for ‘pop up signs’ in the Factory Yellow possibly, to hold
the information about each making table.

o 1 x thermocromatic ink
o 1 x conductive ink
o 1 x hot foiling
o 1 x Adana Press
o 1 x ‘Goody bag’ (envelopes) table
o 2 x stacks of paper from the floor to use on the tables
o 1 x Puff binder?
